Founded in 1973 by Peter Simon, Monsoon began as a single boutique on London’s Beauchamp Place, inspired by handcrafted textiles and artisan craftsmanship from across Asia. The business quickly grew into an international fashion brand before launching Accessorize in 1984, creating one of the UK’s best-known retail success stories. Today, the headquarters of Monsoon and Accessorize are proudly based at The Frestons W11, reflecting Peter Simon’s long-standing commitment to the area.

 

As the visionary behind the transformation of The Frestons W11, Peter Simon has championed the evolution of the former industrial estate into one of West London’s most distinctive creative campuses. His ambition has been to create far more than a workplace: a destination where fashion, art, design, culture and independent businesses can thrive together. The presence of Monsoon and Accessorize at the heart of the campus reflects that vision, reinforcing The Frestons W11 as a home for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
