Founded by Peter Simon, Accessorize grew from the same creative vision that shaped its sister brand, Monsoon. Simon’s early travels across Asia sparked a lifelong appreciation for colour, craft and the artistry of handmade design. That sensibility led him to open Monsoon in 1973, followed by the launch of Accessorize in 1984 – an evolution that transformed a single boutique vision into one of the UK’s most recognisable fashion and accessories brands.

 

Today, Accessorize’s headquarters at The Frestons W11 reflect Simon’s enduring connection to the area and his belief in the power of place. As the driving force behind the transformation of The Frestons W11, he has reimagined the former industrial estate as a contemporary creative campus – an environment where fashion, design, art and independent businesses can thrive side by side. His ambition has always been to create spaces that inspire, and Accessorize’s presence within the campus embodies that philosophy.
